Németh Pincészet Wine Box

The most authentic expression of Badacsony wine can be found in a tiny, artisanal winery. The Németh Pincészet Badacsony is one of the smallest wineries in the town, situated in its very heart, where three generations work together and almost everything – from pruning to hand-painting the bottles – is done by hand. The family has twice been awarded the title of ‘Master of Balaton Wines’, which speaks volumes for an estate of this size – around two hectares.

This wine box brings together the very best the winery has to offer: traditional Hungarian varieties – ‘Kéknyelű’, ‘Budai zöld’, ‘Rózsakő’ and ‘Juhfark’ – alongside classic international varieties such as ‘Szürkebarát’, ‘Olaszrizling’ and ‘Rheinriesling’. The winery’s true pride and joy, however, are the late-harvest wines made from shrivelled grapes and the unique Badacsony ice wine. The selection is accompanied by the same carefully curated Borkorcsolya (wine-pairing platter), whose harmonising accompaniments make discovering Badacsony wines an unforgettable tasting experience.
