I. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS AND SERVICE PROVIDER INFORMATION

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) set forth the terms and conditions of the services provided by Gábor Nagy, Sole Proprietor (hereinafter: Service Provider) www.tanuhegyekreggelije.hu (hereinafter: Website) are governed by Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (Ptk.) and Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce Services (Ektv.).

By placing an order on the Website, the Customer declares that they have read the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that they are binding upon them.

II. SCOPE AND NATURE OF THE SERVICE

The Service Provider offers to prepare and deliver breakfast and dinner to guests staying in private accommodations and apartments. The purpose of the service is to provide hotel-quality meals in the comfort of the apartments.

1. Product Selection: The breakfast and dinner packages listed on the Website, the exact contents of which are specified in the product descriptions.

2. Packaging: The Service Provider delivers meals in recyclable, clean, hygienic, disposable packaging. The cost of the packaging is included in the price of the product. The Customer is not required to return the packaging (there is no deposit).

III. THE ORDERING PROCESS AND THE FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

Orders are placed electronically (via the Website) or by phone. The contract is formed upon the Service Provider’s written confirmation (via email) of the order.

1. Order Deadlines: To ensure high quality and freshness of the service, the Service Provider enforces strict order deadlines:

  • For breakfast orders: By by 6:00 p.m..

  • For dinner orders: On the day of delivery by 2:00 p.m..

2. Validity of the Order: An order is considered valid, and the Service Provider is obligated to fulfill it, only if the payment for the service is received by the Service Provider by the deadlines specified above (6:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.) by the Service Provider, or a successful credit card payment is confirmed. In the event of late payment, the Service Provider is entitled to reject the order.

IV. PAYMENT TERMS

The prices listed on the Website are in forints and include the value-added tax (VAT) required by law.

Payment Methods:

  • Online credit card payment: Via a secure payment gateway (e.g., Stripe/Barion) on the website.

  • Immediate bank transfer: To the bank account number listed in the order confirmation.

The date of payment is the date on which the amount is credited to the Service Provider’s bank account.

V. TERMS OF DELIVERY

The Service Provider uses its own courier service to deliver the order in person to the apartment address provided by the Customer.

1. Delivery time windows:

  • Breakfast: Every day between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. .

  • Dinner: On the day of your order between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., or at a prearranged time.

2. Delivery and Acceptance: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that delivery can be made within the specified time window or at the time agreed upon with the courier. If delivery fails due to the Customer’s fault (e.g., the Customer is not at the address or cannot be reached by phone), the Service Provider will not refund the purchase price, given the perishable nature of the food.

VI. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND CANCELLATION TERMS

1. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal: We hereby inform the Consumer that, pursuant to Section 29(1)(d) and (e) of Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.), the right of withdrawal (the right to return the product) with respect to perishable products or products that retain their quality for only a short period of time (such as prepared meals), as well as with respect to products in sealed packaging that, for health or hygiene reasons, cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened after delivery.

This means that once breakfast or dinner has been served, you cannot cancel or receive a refund.

2. Order Modifications and Cancellations: The Customer may modify or cancel their order without penalty prior to the start of the manufacturing process, as follows:

  • For breakfast: no later than the day before delivery by 5:00 p.m..

  • For dinner: no later than the day of delivery by 1:00 p.m..

In the event of a cancellation after the deadlines listed above, the Service Provider is not obligated to refund the purchase price, as the raw materials have already been procured and preparations have already been made.

VII. DEFECTIVE PERFORMANCE, COMPLAINT HANDLING

If the quality of the delivered food is unsatisfactory (e.g., spoiled, damaged packaging, incomplete order), the Customer is required to report this immediately upon delivery or upon discovering the problem using the Service Provider’s contact information listed above.

The Service Provider will investigate any complaint received within 30 days. If the complaint is valid, the Service Provider agrees to replace the product immediately or, if that is not possible, to refund the purchase price. The Service Provider delivers traditionally prepared dishes with unique flavors. Differences in individual taste preferences (e.g., “too salty,” “I don’t like the taste”) do not constitute a defect in performance.

VIII. FINAL PROVISIONS

In matters not governed by these General Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Civil Code and Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules governing contracts between consumers and businesses shall apply. The Service Provider reserves the right to unilaterally amend these General Terms and Conditions, and will notify users of such amendments on the Website.
